What to expect
Suitable from 14 weeks of pregnancy. Our yoga classes are designed for all expectant mothers, whether they are beginners or experienced. Yoga in pregnancy has many benefits, both physical and psychological. It helps to improve sleep, reduce stress and anxiety, increase muscular strength and flexibility in preparation for labour, reduce lower back pain, manage nausea, headaches and shortness of breath. It also helps to manage weight gain and improves circulation. Nonetheless it's a perfect opportunity to meet other mothers-to-be and build your support network. Talk to our course teacher if you have any doubts re starting this activity. Requirements: comfortable clothing. All materials are provided in class, plus access to the course teacher for support and advice.
